The hair removal industry is growing faster today than it ever has. There are so many products on the market with creams, like Nair hair removal, and waxing that fit just about any budget and any need that either a man or a woman could have. One of the most popular, and fastest growing, hair removal treatments that have sprouted up in the last 10 years or so is the laser hair removal method.
Going to a laser treatment center or day spa for a short 30 to 40 minute session and you could permanently remove all the unwanted hair your pocket book could afford. The treatment is easy and safe. Because this method became so popular so fast now companies have found a way to bring that convenience in to our home with the at home laser hair removal systems.
Back in 2008 the FDA finally approved the very first home laser hair removal kit that meet their standards of safety and reliability. Since then a few other systems have come onto the market with the FDA’s approval. These systems get the same hair free results as their bigger cousins do at the laser centers.
Home laser systems usually come with a hand held laser, which looks like a scan gun from Target®, and a calibrator. The laser itself is smaller than the one at the day spas so it cannot do as wide an area as those other lasers can but with the ability to do it on your couch without waiting an hour in a waiting room is probably more than worth taking a little more time to zap all the hair.
The calibrator is so that you can test your skin to see what setting to put the laser on. The at home versions work similar to the bigger versions in that they pick up on the dark pigments of the hair follicle and zap them. This treatment works best if you have lighter skin or dark hair but people with darker skin or lighter hair can still see some results.
The hair removal method isn’t going anywhere but forward in today’s marketplace and as the demand grows so too does the technology. The best example of this growth is the creation of the home laser hair remover that allows average people to remove all those ugly hairs in the privacy of their own home.
